Travel Information: how to reach Leuven and the workshop place

By Car:
o coming from Brussels: take the highway E40/A3 (Brussel-Luik) direction Luik, take exit E314/A2 (Leuven-Hasselt-Genk) between exit 22 (Bertem) and exit 24 (Haasrode)
o coming from Luik: take the highway E40/A3 (Brussel-Luik) direction Brussel, follow the E314/A2 (Leuven-Hasselt-Genk)
o coming from Hasselt/Genk/Aken/Maastricht: take the highway E314/A2 (Aken-Leuven).
On E314 take one of the exits leading to the Leuven ring (see map of Leuven).
By plane:
From Brussels airport:
o Most flights to Belgium arrive at Brussels airport (about 25km from Leuven)
o There is a direct train connection between Brussels Airport and Leuven (see ’by train’) about every half hour.
From Brussels South Charleroi Airport:
o If you fly with Ryanair, you will arrive at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (about 80km from Leuven)
o From the airport, take bus A or bus 68 to Charleroi station. On the website of TEC, you can find timetables and rates.
o Take the train to Leuven (see ’by train’)
By train and bus:
o Timetables and rates can be found on the website of the NMBS
o From the train station of Leuven, several busses leave into the city center. Line 1 and Line 2 are going from the station into the center and pass by the Hogenheuvel college along Naamsestraat. See busses in Leuven.
